Civil
Society Organisations (CSOs) can play a critical role in
developing the social, economic and political capacities of the
community especially poor and women, increasing their effectiveness in
influencing governance institutions and making the latter more
responsive to their needs and with a demonstrated understanding of the
social, cultural, political and economic circumstances that shape the
lives of the poor.
Our Objective:
THE RESEARCHERS aims to
facilitate community empowerment, advocacy & awareness raising to
build a forum of best practices / lessons learnt thru participatory
community development and capacity building for promotion of active
participation of the women, children & poor in influencing public
policies and representation in decision making at all levels. WE
support development that is sustainable, gender - sensitive and
people-centred with an aim to promote the right of individuals to
develop & utilise their fullest potential .
